    • CSE AGM and EGM Held

    Chittagong, November 24, 2022


    The 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC is held today Thursday, November 24, 2022 at 04:00 pm at CSE Conference hall, Agrabad, Chattogram. Mr. Asif Ibrahim, Chairman CSE conducted the AGM. The Chairman, Audit and Risk Management Committee, Mr. Md. Liaquat Hossain Chowdhury, FCA, FCMA, was also present in that event.

     

    The CSE Board of directors Prof. S. M. Salamat Ullah Bhuiyan, Mr. Sohail Mohammad Shakor, Mr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Mr. Mohammed Mohiuddin, FCMA, Mr. Md. Rezaul Islam and Managing Director (Acting) Mr. Md. Ghulam Faruque, and Company Secretary Mr. Rajib Saha FCS, attended the both AGM and EGM.

     

    At AGM, CSE Shareholders approved  5% cash dividend for the year 2021-2022.

     

    Mr. Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Corporate Representative of LankaBangla Securities Limited has been elected uncontested as Director of Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC.

     

    The 06th Extra Ordinary General Meeting of CSE is also held the same day at 06:00pm. In that EGM, CSE Shareholders approved the application of ABG Limited as the Strategic Investor of CSE.
