May 13, 2025: Board approval for issuance of Subordinated Bond of BDT 800.00 Crore
EBL: The bank has informed that the Board of Directors of the bank in the Board Meeting held on May 12, 2025 approved the issuance of an Unsecured, Non-convertible, Fully Redeemable, Floating Rate Subordinated Bond amounting to BDT 800.00 (Taka Eight Hundred) Crore, with a tenure of 7 (Seven) years, to strengthen the Tier-II capital of the bank. The issuance is subject to approval from the concerned regulatory authorities.
