2021-01-21: Massive Fire incident occurred

ZAHEENSPIN: Zaheen Spinning Limited has informed that a massive fire broke out at the Company at Araihazar in Narayangonj at last night, Thursday of 21st January 2021. The fire broke out at around 1:00 am from electrical short circuit and engulfed the whole factory very quickly. Massive damage was done specially in Blow Room, Carding, Drawing, simplex, Auto cone, Generator, AC Plant, Steel Building and Shed, warehouses etc. After 4 hours of relentless efforts, firefighters of seven units of four fire stations doused the fire. The amount of damage done will be notified later on.
